Welcome to the Future of Green Technology
Warmer homes and buildings with Thermilate Insulating Roof Coating
Latest figures suggest that an un-insulated property loses a quarter of its heat through the roof and from a practical point of view, achieving the Government’s reduction in CO2 emissions looks bleak.
Thermilate Technologies Limited has developed a wide range of odourless (low VOC) insulating and energy-saving paints, coatings and plaster products for varying uses around the home. Their revolutionary Thermilate Insulating Roof Coating is a premium quality, waterproof and insulating roof paint which works by creating a thermal barrier, so helping to prevent heat-loss from homes and buildings escaping through the roof. This is achieved by the use and development of the latest Nano and insulating technologies – an area where Thermilate Technologies Ltd has extensive background and experience.
Reduced condensation with Thermilate Insulating Roof Coating
Used in the same way as conventional roof coatings, Thermilate Insulating Roof Coating not only keeps homes warmer, and for longer, but also prevents common problems like condensation and mould growth. The breathability of the product ensures condensation is either dramatically reduced or eliminated completely. Just two coats of Thermilate Insulating Roof Coating make this an affordable and eco-friendly alternative to re-roofing and a fast acting insulating solution, while simultaneously providing pleasing aesthetic results. This industrial strength coating comes with a unique 15 year product guarantee, so reduces maintenance costs.
Multi-national household name companies, local councils and UK Government sectors including the Ministry of Defence, building and painting contractors for the industrial, commercial, retail and leisure sectors, as well as the infinite number of individual householders around the world, use Thermilate insulating and energy-saving products to solve their condensation and insulating problems, save on energy costs, reduce carbon emissions and operate sustainable business practise in the most cost-effective way possible.
Scientifically proven and reduced 5% VAT
Thermilate’s unique insulating technology has been independently tested across the world to UK, EU and ASTM standards, and as Bianca Hatton, Marketing Manager at Thermilate states: “Our recognised energy-saving and insulating paints, coatings and plasters are eligible for the reduced VAT rate of 5% which can be charged on all materials and labour costs by contractors when used on residential and charitable properties. This helps cash conscious organisations and individuals alike make an immediate reduction in carbon emissions and take significant step towards achieving those important Government targets.”
Before work starts we thoroughly inspect the roof, replace damaged tiles and carry out any necessary re-pointing on hips, ridges and gables.
We pressure clean the roof to remove all moss, lichen and any other unwanted residue. (We recommend treating surfaces with a biocide to hinder future growth.) Then we clean gutters and protect surrounding areas to avoid any contamination during application.
A primer coat is applied to bond the tiles, followed by a second coat of RoofGuard coating to protect the surface and leave your roof looking like new.
